GO Connect is a community of Northview Church believers who are passionate about outreach. It is the “HUB” for those who consider themselves “goers” and “senders” in local, global and urban missions. It is a place to connect with our missionary partners both locally and globally, to celebrate and hear testimonies from recent GO Team trip members, and to build community with like-minded friends focused on outreach.

GO Connect started as a result of a dream God placed in the heart of a young Northview couple, Jon and Amanda Degler, who are exploring God’s call on their life to become full-time missionaries in Thailand. The hope was that a space could be created in which seasoned veterans in the missions field would have a landing zone to share what God is doing through their ministries, also allowing connections to be made with people who are new to exploring the call of God on their life.

As someone who has felt a call to missions since I was a child and having spent a great deal of time doing missions work when I was younger, I know the importance of supporting the “goers” on the frontlines of ministry. I also recognize the importance of creating opportunities for those who feel called to be both “goers” and “senders” but don’t quite know where to begin, to have mentors come alongside them and help them in their journey. That is why I love GO Connect; I can go and learn from those who have been serving far longer than I have, and at the same time, find those who are new to serving and help them in their journey.

Whether you are someone who is interested in hearing testimonies from our GO Teams, missionary partners, or are looking for mission-minded friends to grow with, GO Connect is the place to do that. GO Connect meets one Saturday a month in the Chapel directly following the Saturday evening service.
